THE THOMAS POOL WILL BE CLOSED FOR SWIMMING MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23-24-25, 2008. THE THOMAS POOL WILL RE-OPEN THURSDAY, JUNE26TH @ NOON. THE AQUATIC CENTER WILL BE OPEN FROM 8:00AM-5:00PM FOR SUMMER REGISTRATIONS ONLY AND WILL RE-OPEN FOR SWIMMING ON MONDAY, JUNE 30TH @ 5:30 AM. MONDAY, JUNE 30TH WILL BEGIN OUR SUMMER 08 SCHEDULE.
This Olympic sized (50 meter x 25 yard) pool features balcony seating for 875, one and three meter diving boards, short and long course lap lanes, and a 700 square foot multi-purpose meeting and party room. Water temperature is maintained between 81-82 degrees. Diverse activities can co-exist comfortably during busy times, separated by two moveable bulkheads. The facility is open to the public with Webster resident and non-resident drop in rates, multi-visit punch passes, and membership opportunities. All are welcome to enjoy a lap swim, water exercise class, or just splash around at Webster's premier recreation attraction.
